North Louisiana Economic Partnership (NLEP) helps existing businesses in 14 parishes in North Louisiana expand and grow. NLEP's expansion and retention program reaches out to existing employers to build relationships and to assist and support their growth plans. We know that more than 70% of new jobs created comes from existing businesses. That's why we spend half our efforts focused on the companies already located in the region. If your company is growing and expanding, our confidential and complimentary services can help you locate new sites and buildings, apply for incentives and financing programs and facilitate your growth plans. NLEP and its partners conduct “Synchronist Visits” with existing businesses throughout North Louisiana, collecting data on companies in order to identify expansion opportunities, businesses at risk, and community problems. The confidential information often helps NLEP, its partners and the state tailor solutions that can support existing businesses. As part of a new five-year program of work, NLEP encourages companies to adopt a export strategy in order to expand revenue and employment.
