Where We Began:
REGIONALISM WORKS:
2012 .... 2016
Regionalism Works, the first phase of North Louisiana Economic Partnership’s (NLEP) capital campaign, was a strong beginning to a proven economic development initiative that works. Bolstered by combined resources and a unified vision, the Regionalism Works capital campaign funded a better, more productive approach to achieve a more vibrant and diverse regional economy — and a better quality of life for all who live and work here.
REGIONALISM IS WORKING: THERE’S STRENGTH IN NUMBERS
From 2012 to 2017, NLEP has joined forces with companies across the region to expand and generate new business.
5,538 direct new jobs created.
More than $1.6 billion in direct capital investment generated.
14 parishes with nearly 819,000 residents working together.
REGIONALISM WORKS 2.0:
2017 .... 2021
Our track record is proof — and the rankings for our region validate — that regionalism is working. The next five-year capital campaign called Regionalism Works 2.0 is themed REGIONALISM = RESULTS. Set to begin in 2017 and culminate in 2021, Regionalism Works 2.0 will build on our momentum, generating economic opportunities for existing and new b usinesses in North Louisiana. We will continue to strengthen our investor base in order to build a united, thriving North Louisiana.
VISION: 2.0 FOCUS
North Louisiana will be a thriving region—a destination for high-quality talent, innovative companies, and global investment.
With the adoption of our comprehensive, five-year strategic plan in 2014 to guide future economic growth, NLEP will focus resources and efforts around a common vision and three primary goals:

World-class program for fostering business attraction, retention, expansion and creation |
A strong pipeline of talent to support current and future employers
|

A unified voice for economic development promoting the region
