North Louisiana Economic Partnership (NLEP) announces the hiring of two economic developers to be based in Monroe and in Shreveport. Alberta Brown Green will join NLEP as the Director of Information Technology Initiatives, based in the NLEP Monroe office effective August 24, 2015. Zazell Dudley will join NLEP as the Director of Business Development, based in the Shreveport Office effective September 1, 2015.
“I am proud to add two such highly qualified members to our team. Each brings unique qualifications and career experiences. Green will focus on enhancing our technology business recruitment and expansion efforts, working with companies like CenturyLink and IBM. Dudley will partner with Caddo Parish to enhance our business recruitment and site development efforts there,” said Scott Martinez, CEcD, NLEP President.

Alberta Green joins NLEP after working at CenturyLink where she served most recently as a Sourcing Recruiter, a Lead Organizational Effectiveness Consultant and a Leadership Development Consultant. Prior to joining CenturyLink, Green worked at the University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM) for more than four years in various roles, including as the Director of ULM’s Career Connections and as a career counselor. She earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree - both from ULM. Alberta is very involved in the community, serving on numerous boards including the Board of Directors of University Health Conway. She was also featured recently as the “Top 20 under 40” recipient for Northeast Louisiana.
“I am excited to be joining the NLEP team! My experience over the past 15 years working in different career fields and with people from diverse backgrounds and company cultures gave me broad based experience in the business world and in the community,” said Green. “I have played a vital role in promoting the growth and success of the companies where I have worked having created and revamped programs, managed large company-wide projects and built lasting relationships with companies and community organizations. These experiences have positioned and prepared me to be a part of this great, fast-past organization, NLEP.”

For the past 17 years, Zazell Dudley was the Chief Executive Officer of Dudley Worldwide, a Shreveport-based medical and facilities maintenance distribution and professional services company. Dudley also worked for four years as the Managing Director of Kennedy Wilson in Beverly Hills, CA, responsible for a $40 million equity and real estate fund. Her professional career spans 30 years and includes working as the Procurement Manager for Corning, Inc. in Corning, NY, as the Strategic Sourcing Specialist in Corporate Purchasing for Mobil Corporation in numerous locations; and as a Design and Quality Assurance Engineer with LTV Missiles & Electronics (now Lockheed) in Grand Prairie, TX.
Dudley earned a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana Tech University and a Master of Business Administration from Dallas Baptist University.
