State’s regional EDOs convene first-of-its kind summit in 10 years
SHREVEPORT - MONROE, LA — North Louisiana Economic Partnership (NLEP) today announced a Statewide Economic Development Summit presented by Entergy on April 18th intended to strengthen the state’s economy through shared ideas and business practices. The Economic Development Summit will be held in collaboration with the Louisiana Regional Leadership Council, comprised of the state’s eight regional economic development organizations. The Summit will feature keynote presentations by Governor John Bel Edwards and Secretary of Louisiana Economic Development Don Pierson, Jr. Ruston Mayor Ronny Walker will be featured as a panelist during the program. The Summit will take place in Baton Rouge at L’auberge Baton Rouge from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
