North Louisiana Economic Partnership – NLEP
NLEP is an accredited regional economic development organization providing professional economic development services to an 11-parish region of North Louisiana, including lead generation and prospect management. The organization represents the interests of North Louisiana with a unified voice and as a single point of contact.
Parishes represented by NLEP include: Bienville, Bossier, Caddo, Claiborne, DeSoto, Jackson, Lincoln, Natchitoches, Red River, Sabine and Webster. The Shreveport-Bossier MSA sits at the center of our region, surrounded by micropolitan communities of Minden, Natchitoches and Ruston.
Designated by the International Economic Development Council as an Accredited Economic Development Organization (AEDO) since 2015, a designation that means NLEP is performing at the highest level and is considered an expert in economic development.
NLEP’s talented team of economic development and marketing professionals has won four Excellence in Economic Development Awards from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), the largest membership organization for economic developers.
NLEP was named Economic Development Partner of the Year in 2017 by the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI).

NLEP services fall into seven main categories: business development, business retention and expansion, business intelligence/research, marketing/communications, workforce development, investor relations, and advocacy. Each NLEP program supports the overarching goals of business development, workforce development, and regional advocacy.
