Jumpstart is an effort by the Louisiana Department of Education, Louisiana Economic Development, and the Louisiana Community and Technical College System to dramatically increase the number of high school students pursuing career and technical education. Students following this pathway will graduate with industry-based credentials for in-demand skills and be career and college ready.  The Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics Jump Start 2.0 Pathway focuses on the planning, managing, and moving of people, materials, and goods by road, pipeline, air, rail, and water. Pathway coursework will also equip students to provide professional and technical support services for transportation infrastructure planning and management, logistics, mobile equipment, facility maintenance, and skills to pilot drones.
